As part of North Northamptonshire, the largest growth area outside London, Wellingborough is set to expand with new residential communities, a re-developed town centre and improved transport infrastructure.
This means new homes, shops, and jobs but growth is being carefully managed to preserve and enhance the qualities that make Wellingborough special.
Indeed, Stanton Cross to the East of Wellingborough is one of the UK's largest proposed development sites, with plans for 3,100 dwellings contributing to a projected expansion of Wellingborough town by around 30% over the next 10-15 years.
